For that matter, transhumanism often seems to be more interested with simply improving human abilities (reducing/stopping aging, making people faster or more intelligent, etc.) than actually transcending the human form. Which has people freaking out about eugenics and calling it the world's most dangerous idea.

I prefer the more genetic engineering oriented aspects of transhumanism.
